Balancing Act

Okay..anyone who is a working mother understands the title above. Too much to do, too little time. I'm typing as fast as I can while my daughter takes a much needed extended nap. I'll be paying for these minutes later tonight when I'm ready to retire and she protests.

But something inspired me to create a blog. Maybe it's the need to find others who are in the same boat, others who trying to accomplish it all. You know accomplish the dreams you had when you were a little girl.

For me I watched the news and wanted to be the next Jane Polly. I admired my parents and wanted the perfect marriage. And I played with my dolls and dreamed of raising two little sweethearts of my own.

Now here I sit my dreams coming true one by one, but am I enjoying them? Today, not really. I have a beautiful, charming 15 month old daughter and this spring I will deliver another baby girl. I work full time in public relations. My husband is a loving, supportive, fun, hard working man, who is devoted to his family. Sounds like a bed of roses right? Not so much, but definitely as beautiful.

Dreams don't come true without hardships and you don't get to keep them unless you can successfully manage the balancing act.

I hear my baby girl laughing. It's time for dinner. So quickly I will introduce my blog. In a nutshell, I'm going to spill my beans. To do this I'll go back a few years. Stay tuned. I'll write when I can.
